A simpler way to prepare internal corners
Kwikbead brings the galvanised steel angle bead and adhesive scrim tape together in one ready-to-apply product. The scrim is attached during manufacture, so you can position, align and adjust the bead as one piece without a separate nail-fixing or tape-application step.
How Kwikbead self-adhesive angle bead works
The bead and scrim tape arrive as one product. Position the bead on the internal dry-lined corner, align it, then continue with your normal plastering process.
1. Position on the corner
Bring the galvanised angle bead to the prepared internal plasterboard corner. Kwikbead is designed for dry-lined corners and can also help cover uneven corner boarding.
2. Align and adjust
The self-adhesive scrim helps hold the bead in place while you check the line and make adjustments. The one-fix application does not require nail fixing.
3. Carry on with plastering
Because the scrim tape is already attached, you do not need to measure and apply a separate tape strip. Once the bead is aligned, continue with your usual plastering process.
